Everard Jackson

Everard Stanley Jackson (12 January 1914 – 20 September 1975) was a New Zealand rugby union player. A prop, Jackson represented East Coast, Hawke's Bay and Wellington at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, from 1938 to 1938. He played 11 matches for the All Blacks including six internationals.
Of Ngāti Porou descent, Jackson played for New Zealand Māori in 1936. During World War II, he served as an officer in the 28th (Māori) Battalion and lost a leg as a result of wounds received in an artillery barrage.〔〔
